A Message from Mrs. Boyd:
Hi... welcome to the Galesburg Christian School website! We thank you for your interest in our school. My name is Mrs. Jim (Dorie) Boyd and I have been teaching for nearly 20 years; 18 of those in five year old Kindergarten. My position at GCS is not my "job," but a ministry that God has called me to, and I thank Him every day for the privilege and honor I have been given to serve Him in this place. I love what I do here and I especially love the students!
God has truly blessed our school in so many wonderful ways, and we are deeply grateful for all He has done! We are especially thankful for our students and their families, without whom we couldn't have a school. Of course, the Lord's greatest blessing is His Gift of His Only Begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, His redemptive work on the cross in our stead, His resurrection from the dead, and His promise to return for us one day! Our God is the awesome One True God Who has His Hand upon our school, without a doubt, so if you would desire for your child/ children to receive an excellent academic education, unconditional love, and the teaching of true moral values from a Biblical perspective, please seriously consider enrolling your student(s) in Galesburg Christian School. For further information regarding the K5 exceptional curriculum, class schedule, extra activities, etc., please contact the school office for a special packet made up just for prospective K5 students' families.
Again, thank you for considering our school for your own precious student(s). We truly look forward to helping you make an informed and God led decision where your child's education is concerned.
